Milling tools
vhf offers an impressive range of milling cutters: these tools made of carbide have one to four cutting edges and are available in more than 600 variants.
For machining harder materials, the milling tools are also available with different coatings. In case of the one- to four-tooth cutters, you will find with our Varius® line the right cutter for a particularly wide range of applications. In addition, there is a large selection of tools with a grinding for very special materials or tasks (e.g. with face radius or left-hand twist).

Single tooth cutters
Milling tools with one cutting edge are particularly suitable for plastics, acrylic glass, soft aluminum, aluminum composite panels, or soft brass alloys.
Double tooth cutters
Milling tools for medium-hard materials, e.g. harder aluminum alloys or brass alloys, hard plastics, or composite materials.
Triple tooth cutters
With their three cutting edges, these milling cutters are particularly suitable for the processing of tool steel, gray cast iron, cast steel, and malleable cast iron as well as brass.
Four tooth cutters
These milling tools are suitable for materials such as high-alloy steel and tempered steel or cast iron, which are hard to cut as well as finishing operations.
Composite cutters
For highly abrasive materials like GRP or CRP, we offer a whole series of special milling cutters with cross cut, diamond, or spiral toothing.
