Donations for humanitarian aid
Every year, vhf sets new priorities in selecting the recipients of their donations. This year vhf has decided for the international aid organisation Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders). They give medical aid in war zones and conflict areas as well as after natural catastrophes worldwide. Their international and national experts work in about 60 countries – physicians and nurses, midwives and logisticians. They cure ill and wounded people, take care for malnourished children or dispense clean drinking water and build latrines.
Humanitarian aid is not for free – and Médecins Sans Frontières is only to a small proportion dependent on state subsidies to help people in need independent from political interests. Only private donations make their emergency operations possible. So the vhf camfacture AG has decided to round up the amount which is usually spent for presents, their packaging and shipment to 5,000 euros again and to donate it to Médecins Sans Frontières.
The executive board and employees of the vhf camfacture AG are pleased that they were able to make a meaningful contribution and are sure that the business partners also agree to having contributed to a good cause with the presents intended for them. All customers who receive a consignment of vhf in December anyway, nonetheless get a small present with their consignment.
